It all started as an experiment. I had always been fascinated with bus conductors so I decided to understand them better by becoming one for a day. Afterwards, the article I wrote about it got so many positive reviews and feedback. Some people also threw up additional questions, many of which I hadn’t answered in my first escapade. This necessitated a revisit to the bus stop and my new found conductor friends. Thus began this series, “Changing Lenses”, where I’ll put on the lenses of an interesting individual, demography, profession, etc. and live like them for a day. Afterwards, I’ll write about the experience and lessons I learned from them.

Just before my second visit to the Conductors’, Pearl died. She was easily my most adventurous dog and this series is dedicated to her.

I hope you enjoy and learn a few things from my experiences.

Edit: below is a list of all the articles in the “Changing Lenses” series. I’ll keep adding articles to this list as I write them.

  1. Ó Wà óóó!’ — Through the lens of a Bus Conductor
  2. Ó Wà óóó!’ — Another view through the Bus Conductor’s lens
  3. Changing Lenses — Hawking Rat poison in Lagos traffic.
  4. Changing Lenses — Farmscapades
  5. Changing Lenses — Farmscapades 2

If you enjoy reading them, feel free to buy me a cup of coffee or 333 to enable me take on more experiences 😋
